    Back Up and Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Scroll to “Personal
    3. Tap “Backup & reset
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up Wi-Fi passwords, app data, and settings to your Google account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data, passwords, and settings to be automatically restored when signing in with the backup account

    Back Up and Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Go to “Accounts
    3. Select an account type and the account you want to use for backing up the contacts
    4. Tick the “Contacts” check box and tap “Menu” > “Sync Now

    NOTE: You can restore contacts the next time you sign in with your backup account and syncing them with your device.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or form the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the PC
    5. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect it from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the computer
    5. Copy and transfer the backup files on the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect it form the USB port
