    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Scroll to “Personal
    3. Tap “Backup & reset
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up Wi-Fi passwords, app data, and settings to your backup account
    5. Enable “Automatic restore” to allow app data, settings, and passwords to be restored automatically when logging in with the backup account

    Back Up and Restore Contacts:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Access “Accounts
    3. Select an account type and the account you want to use for contact backup
    4. Tick the “Contacts” check box
    5. Press “Menu” > “Sync Now

    NOTE: You can restore contacts the next time you sign in with your backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

    1. Connect the Android device to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the PC
    5. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or form the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the computer
    5. Copy and paste the files in the desired backup location on the PC
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
