    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings” and scroll to “Personal”
    2. Tap “Backup & reset”
    3. Enable “Back up my data” to back up Wi-Fi passwords, app data, and settings to your backup account
    4. Enable “Automatic restore” to allow app data, settings, and passwords to be automatically restored then next time you sign in with the backup account

    Back Up and Restore Contacts:

    1. Open “Contacts”
    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and the account you want to use for contact backup
    4. Check the “Contacts” box and tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: You can restore contacts the next time you log in with the backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to your computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer
    5. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the “Notification” area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the computer
    5. Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
