    Switch to 2G Networks Temporarily:

    1. Open “Settings”

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Device” and tap “Apps”
    3. Select “All apps” from the drop-down menu
    4. Tap the desired app
    5. To disable the app, tap “Force Stop” / “Disable”
    6. To remove the app, tap “Uninstall”

    Change Sync Settings:

NOTE: By changing the sync settings of your apps and/or accounts to reduce sync, you can improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and the desired account
    4. Change the available sync settings to reduce sync

    Keep the OS Updated:

NOTE: Software updates can include improvements to battery life, and thus it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times. To check for updates:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “About phone”
    3. Tap “System updates”
    4. Verify if a new update is available for download
    5. If applicable, follow the on-screen steps to download and apply the update (NOTE: the update process will require at least one reboot)
