    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Backup & reset”
    3. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your backup account
    4. Enable “Automatic restore” to allow app data, Wi-Fi passwords, and settings to be restored automatically when you sign in with the backup account or reinstall apps

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Open “Contacts”
    2. Access “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and account you want to use for the backup
    4. Tick the “Contacts” check box
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync now”

    NOTE: Contacts can be restored the next time you sign in with the backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows Computer:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the Alcatel and computer
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the “Notification” area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Copy and paste the files in the desired backup location on the PC storage
    5. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” on the phone
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC
    4. Locate the media file backups on the PC storage
    5. Transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” directory
    6. After the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
