    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

NOTE: By disabling the phone’s connectivity features when unused, including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Hotspot, and GPS, you can improve battery life in the long run.

    Switch to 2G Network Temporarily:

    3. Tap “Mobile networks”
    4. Go to “Preferred network type”

    Minimize Third Party App Usage:

NOTE: Certain third party apps perform regular background processes that can potentially affect the phone’s battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. By disabling or removing unused third party apps, you can improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Under “Device”, tap “Apps”
    3. Ensure “All apps” is selected from the drop-down menu
    4. Select the desired app
    5. To disable the app, tap “Disable” / “Force Stop”
    6. To remove the app from the phone, tap “Uninstall”

    Keep the OS Updated:

NOTE: OS updates can include battery life improvements and thus it’s recommended to keep the OS updated at all times. To check for updates:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Scroll to and tap “About phone”
    3. Tap “System updates” and check if a new update is available for download
    4. If applicable, follow the on-screen steps to download and install the update (NOTE: the update process will require at least one reboot)
