    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Personal” and tap “Backup & reset”
    3. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your account
    4. Enable “Automatic restore” to allow app data, passwords, and settings to be restored automatically the next time you sign in with the backup account

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Accounts” and select an account type and the desired account you want to use for contact syncing
    3. Ensure “Contacts” is checked
    4. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: Contacts backed up using this method can be automatically restored the next time you sign in with your backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Copy and transfer the files in the desired backup location on the computer
    5. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Copy and transfer the media file backups on the computer
    5. Transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder
    6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord
