    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Scroll to “Personal
    3. Tap ‘Backup & reset
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your backup account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data to be restored automatically the next time you log in with the backup account or when reinstalling apps

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Contacts
    2. Scroll to and tap “Accounts
    3. Select an account type and the account you want to use for syncing
    4. Tick the “Contacts” check box then press “Menu” > “Sync Now

    NOTE: Contacts backed up using this method can be restored automatically the next time you sign in with the backup account.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Transfer the files to the desired backup location on the PC
    5. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device form the UB port

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the PC
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the “Media” folder
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
