Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the Samsung phone and PC
    2. One the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Navigate to your audio files on the PC
    5. Transfer the files to the phone storage, in the “Ringtones” folder
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

Transfer Audio Files from a Mac Computer:

NOTE: You can skip the first three steps below if Samsung Kies is installed on the Mac.

    1. Launch the Internet browser on the Mac
    2. Head down to https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/app/kies
    3. Click “Download for Mac” and install the app on the computer
    4. Establish a USB connection between the phone and Mac
    5. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
    6. Launch Kies on the Mac and click the “Folder” icon next to “Internal memory” or “External memory”
    7. Launch the File Finder on the Mac and locate the desired audio files
    8. Drag and drop the files inside Kies to start the transfer
    9. After the transfer completes, drag the phone’s virtual drive from the desktop and drop it over the Trash Can to eject it
    10. Safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “Sound and notifications”
    3. Tap “Ringtone” and select the desired ringtone
    4. Tap “OK”

    Change the Notification Sound:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Sound and notifications”
    3. Tap “Notifications”
    4. Select the desired alert sound and tap “OK”
