    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

NOTE: Some third-party apps perform regular background processes that can potentially affect the device’s battery life even when not actively in use. By disabling or removing unused third-party apps you can avoid this and potentially improve battery life.

    1. Go to “Settings”
    2. Access “Apps” and make sure “All apps” are visible
    3. Select the desired application
    4. To disable the app, tap “Force Stop” / “Disable” to confirm
    5. To remove the app, tap “Uninstall”

    Reduce Sync:

NOTE: You can change your accounts’ settings to reduce sync and improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Personal” and tap “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and the desired account
    4. Change the available settings to reduce sync

    Keep the OS Updated:

NOTE: OS updates can include battery life improvements and it’s recommended to keep the OS updated at all times. To check for updates:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “About phone” > “System updates”
    3. Check if new updates are available
    4. If applicable, follow the on-screen steps to download and apply the update (NOTE: the update will require you to reboot your phone at least once)
