    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Go to “Backup & reset
    3. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and passwords to your account
    4. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data, settings, and passwords to be restored automatically the next time you log in with the backup account or when reinstalling apps

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Go to “Accounts
    3. Select the desired account type and account for contact backup
    4. Ensure “Contacts” is checked
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now

    NOTE: Contacts can be restored automatically the next time you log in with the backup account or by manually syncing the account data with the device.

    Back Up Media Files on a PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media files on the phone
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the backup location on the PC
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the PC storage
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the folders from where they originate
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
