    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Personal”
    3. Tap “Backup & Reset”
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, passwords, and settings to your backup account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow settings, app data, and passwords to be restored automatically when signing in with the backup account or reinstalling apps

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Scroll to and access “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type
    4. Select the account you want to use for syncing your contact
    5. Make sure the “Contacts” check box is ticked
    6. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: Contacts can be automatically restored the next time you log in with the backup account, or by manually syncing the account data with the phone.

    Back Up Media Files on a PC:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the phone and computer
    2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC
    4. Navigate to the media files on the phone storage
    5. Copy the files and transfer them to the desired backup location on the PC
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC
    4. Copy and paste the backup files to the phone storage preferably in the folders from where they originate
    5. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the computer
