    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Go to “Personal
    3. Tap “Backup & reset
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your backup account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to be automatically restored when reinstalling apps or signing in with the backup account

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Access “Accounts
    3. Select an account type and the account you want to use for syncing
    4. Ensure “Contacts” is checked then tap “Menu” > “Sync Now

    NOTE: Contacts can be automatically restored the next time you log in with the backup account or by manually syncing the account data – and contacts - with the device.

    Back Up Media Files on a PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Copy and paste the files to the desired backup location on the computer
    5. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media backup files on the PC
    5. Transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the folders from where they originate
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage via system tray and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
