Reset Network Settings:

NOTE: When you reset your network settings, all the saved Wi-Fi and Bluetooth networks will be deleted. Additionally, data restrictive settings, background sync settings, and network selection mode will be restored to factory values.

1. Launch “Settings”
2. Go to “General management”
3. Tap “Reset” > “Reset network settings”
4. If the device is protected by a lock screen, enter the password/PIN to proceed
5. Tap “Reset settings”

Factory Reset

WARNING! When you factory reset your device, all your personal data stored on the phone’s internal memory will be deleted. This includes apps, media files, downloaded content, contacts etc. However data located on the SIM card and SD storage won’t be affected by the reset.

Hard Reset via Settings:

1. Launch “Settings”
2. Go to “Cloud and accounts”
3. Tap “Backup and restore” and optionally, turn “Back up my data” and “Restore” ON or OFF
4. Return to “Settings”
5. Go to “General management”
6. Tap “Reset” > “Factory data reset” > “Reset device”
7. If your phone is protected by a lock screen, enter your PIN/password and tap “Continue”
8. Tap “Delete all” to confirm

Hard Reset via Android Recovery:

NOTE: If your phone freezes, crashes, or otherwise prevents you from resetting it using the method above, alternatively you can try resetting your phone from the Recovery menu.

1. First, turn the phone Off
2. Then, press and hold “Volume Up” and “Home” simultaneously, then press and release “Power”
3. At the Android screen, release the buttons and wait for access to Android Recovery
4. In Recovery, press “Volume down” to navigate the menu and highlight “Wipe data/factory reset”
5. Press “Power” to select the highlighted option
6. Highlight “Yes – delete all user data”
7. Press “Power”
8. Once done, ensure “Reboot system now” is highlighted and press “Power”
