    Enable Battery Saving Mode:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Device”
    3. Tap “Battery”
    4. Tap “Menu” and enable “Battery saver”

Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. Drag the brightness slider towards the left to decrease luminosity
    3. Open “Settings”
    4. Go to “Display” and optionally, turn “Adaptive brightness” ON or OFF
    5. For timeout settings, tap “Sleep” and select a lower value like “15 seconds”

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

NOTE: You can disable the phone’s connectivity features when not actively in use, such as Wi-Fi, Hotspot, Bluetooth, and GPS, to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
    2. Tap the “Wi-Fi” “Bluetooth” and “Location” quick toggles to disable the features
    3. Launch “Settings”
    4. Go to “Location” for GPS options and tap “Mode”
    5. Enable “Battery saving”
    6. Return to “Settings” and tap “More” under “Wireless & Networks”
    7. Tap “Tethering & portable hotspot’ and disable the feature

    Switch to 2G Networks Temporarily:

NOTE: If your device runs low on battery and you don’t have quick access to a wall socket or battery bank, you can conserve energy until the next recharge by temporarily switching to 2G networks.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Tap “More” under “Wireless & Networks”
    3. Tap “Mobile networks” > “Preferred network type”
    4. Enable “2G’

    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

NOTE: Certain third-party apps perform regular background processes that can potentially affect the device’s battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. By removing or disabling unused third-party apps, you can improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Open “Settings” and access “Apps”
    2. Ensure “All apps” is selected
    3. Tap the desired application
    4. To turn the app off, tap “Disable” / “Force Stop”
    5. To remove the app, tap “Uninstall”

    Change Sync Settings:

NOTE: You can potentially improve battery life in the long run by changing your accounts’ settings to reduce sync.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “Accounts”
    3. Tap an account type
    4. Select the desired account
    5. Change the available settings to reduce sync as desired

Keep the OS Up To Date:

NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and thus it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Abut phone”
    3. Tap “System updates”
    4. Check if a new update is available
    5. If applicable, follow the on-screen prompts to download and apply the update (the update process will require at least one reboot)
