Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the Android device and computer
    2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
    3. Navigate to the audio files on the PC
    4. Copy the desired files and transfer them to the phone storage, preferably in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” folders
    5. Once the process completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Device”
    3. Tap “Sound” > “Ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”

    Change a Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be assigned for contacts located on the SIM Card or the device’s internal memory.

    1. Open “Contacts”
    2. Select the desired contact
    3. Tap “Edit” > “More” > “Ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone
    5. Tap “OK”

    Change Incoming Email Alert Sounds:

    1. Open “Email”
    2. Tap “Menu”
    3. Go to “Settings” > “Account & Sync”
    4. Select an email account
    5. Enable “New Emails” and access “Notification sound”
    6. Select the desired notification ringtone and optionally, turn “Vibrate” ON or OFF

    Change Emergency Alert Settings:

    1. Launch “Messages”
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
    3. Access “Advanced settings”
    4. Tap “More” > “emergency alerts”
    5. Enable or disable “Imminent severe alerts” “Imminent extreme alerts” and “AMBER alerts”
    6. Additionally, under “Sound and vibrate” you can enable or disable “Alert sound” and “Alert vibration”
