    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Launch Settings
    2. Go to Personal
    3. Tap Backup & Reset
    4. Enable Back up my data to back up app data, Wi-Fi passwords and settings to your backup account
    5. Enable Automatic Restore to allow app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to be restored automatically when signing in with the backup account or reinstalling apps

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Open Settings
    2. Access Accounts
    3. Select an account type and tap the desired account
    4. Ensure the Contacts check box is ticked
    5. Tap Menu > Sync Now

    NOTE: Contacts can be restored automatically the next time you log in with the backup account, or by manually syncing the account data, including contacts, with the Android phone.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
    2. On the phone, enable Media device / File Transfer when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the PC
    4. Navigate to the media files on the phone storage
    5. Copy and paste the files to the desired backup location on the PC
    6. Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
    2. On the phone, enable File Transfer / Media device when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC
    4. Locate the media file backups on the computer
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the folders of origin
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
