    4. Enable “Battery saver”

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

NOTE: You can disable the phone’s connectivity features when not actively in use, such as Wi-Fi, GPS, Hotspot, and Bluetooth, to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
    2. Tap the “Wi-Fi” “Location” (GPS) and “Bluetooth” quick toggles to turn the features Off
    3. Launch “Settings” for more options
    4. Go to “Location” for GPS settings, then tap “mode” and enable “Battery saving”

    6. Disable “Tethering & portable Hotspot”

    Switch to 2G Networks Temporarily:

NOTE: If your device runs low on battery and you don’t have quick access to a wall socket or battery bank, you can conserve energy until the next recharge by temporarily switching to 2G networks.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Tap “More” under “Wireless & Networks”
    3. Go to “Mobile networks” > “Preferred network type”
    4. Enable “2G”

    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type
    4. Select an account and change the available settings to reduce sync as desired

    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

NOTE: Certain third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the device’s battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. You can disable or remove unused third-party apps to potentially improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Apps”
    3. Select “All apps” and the desired app
    4. To turn the app off, tap “Force Stop” / “Disable”
    5. To remove the app, tap “Uninstall”

    Keep the OS Updated:

NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and it’s recommended to keep the OS updated at all times.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “About phone”
    3. Tap “System updates”
    4. Check if new updates area available for download
    5. If so, follow the on-screen prompts to download and apply the update (the process will require at least one reboot)
