    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Personal’
    3. Tap “Backup & Reset”
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your backup account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data, settings, and passwords to be restored automatically the next time you reinstall apps or sign in with the backup account

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type
    4. Tap the desired account and ensure the “Contacts” check box is ticked
    5. Tap “Menu’ > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: Contacts can be restored automatically the next time you log in with your backup account or by manually syncing the account data with the device.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media files on the phone
    5. Copy and paste the files to the desired backup location on the computer
    6. After the process completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / ‘Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Transfer the backup files to the phone storage, preferably in the folders of origin
    5. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
