    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Personal”
    3. Go to “Backup & Reset”
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your backup account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data, settings, and passwords to be restored automatically the next time you sign in with the backup account or reinstalling apps

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and the desired account
    4. Make sure the “Contacts” tick box is checked
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: Contacts can be automatically restored the next time you sign in with the backup account or by manually syncing the account data with the device.

    Back Up Media Files to a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” on the phone, when prompted or from the Notification shade
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Navigate to the media files located on the phone
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the desired backup location on the computer
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Establish a USB connection between the Android phone and computer
    2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Copy and paste the backup files to the phone storage, preferably in the folders of origin
    5. Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
