disappointed with the performance of the blackview rugged phone. Now i am impressed with quality and performance of the Poptel P9000 Max and it is a true rugged phone.

    Enable Battery Saving Mode:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Device”
    3. Tap “Battery” > “Menu”
    4. Enable “Battery saver”

Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. In the quick toggle area, drag the brightness slider towards the left
    3. Open “Settings”
    4. Go to “Display” and optionally, turn “Adaptive brightness” ON or OFF
    5. For timeout options, tap “Sleep’ and select a lower value like “15 seconds”

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

NOTE: You can turn the phone’s connectivity features Off when not actively in use, such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and Hotspot, to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. Tap the “Wi-Fi” “Bluetooth” and “Location” (GPS) quick toggles to disable them
    3. Open “Settings” and go to “Location” for more GPS options
    4. Tap “mode” and enable “Battery saving”
    5. Return to “Settings” and expand “Wireless & Networks”
    6. Disable “Tethering & Mobile hotspot”

    Switch to 2G Networks Temporarily:

NOTE: If your phone runs low on battery and you don’t have quick access to a battery bank or wall socket, you can conserve energy until the next recharge by temporarily switching to 2G networks.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Expand “Wireless & Networks” and tap “mobile networks”
    3. Access “Preferred network type”
    4. Select “2G”

    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

NOTE: Certain third-party apps can perform regular background processes and thus you can potentially improve battery life by removing or disabling unused third-party apps from the device.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Apps’
    3. Switch to “Downloaded” or “All apps”
    4. Select the desired app and tap “Force Stop” / “Disable”
    5. To remove the app from the phone tap “Uninstall”

    Change Sync Settings:

NOTE: You might improve battery life by reducing the amount of data synced by your apps and accounts.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type
    4. Tap the desired account and change the available settings to reduce sync

    Keep the OS Updated:

NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and it’s recommended to keep the OS updated at all times.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “About phone” > “System updates”
    3. Check if new updates are available
    4. Follow the prompts to download and apply the update
