Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” at the prompt or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Navigate to the audio files on the PC
    5. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and “notifications” directories
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Scroll to “Device”
    3. Tap “Sound” > “Ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone
    5. Tap “OK”

    Change a Specific Contact’s Ringtone:

NOTE: Custom ringtones can’t be set for contacts located on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.

    1. Open “Contacts”
    2. Select the desired contact
    3. Tap “Edit” > “More” > “Ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone
    5. Tap “OK”

    Change Incoming Email Alert Sounds:

    1. Open “Email”
    2. Tap “Menu”
    3. Go to “Settings” > “Accounts & Sync”
    4. Tap “New Emails” > “Notification sound”
    5. Select the desired notification alert
    6. Optionally, enable or disable “Vibrate”

    Change Emergency Alert Settings:

    1. Open “Messages”
    2. Tap “Menu” > “Settings”
    3. Go to “Advanced settings”
    4. Tap “More” > “Emergency alerts”
    5. Turn “imminent extreme alerts” “Imminent severe alerts” and “AMBER alerts” ON or OFF
    6. Optionally, under “Sound and vibrate” enable or disable “Alert sound” and “Alert vibration”
