    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Personal” > “Backup & Reset”
    3. Enable “Back up my data” to back up data to your account
    4. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data to be restored automatically when reinstalling apps or signing in with the backup account

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and the desired account
    4. Tick the “Contacts” check box
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now”

    NOTE: Contacts can be restored automatically the next time you sign in with the backup account or by manually syncing the account data with the phone.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” on the phone, when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media files on the phone
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the desired backup location on the computer
    6. After the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the SUB cord

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the quick toggle area
    3. On the PC, launch the File Explorer and locate the media backup files
    4. Transfer the media backup files to the phone storage, preferably in the folders of origin
    5. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
