    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Go to “Personal
    3. Tap “Backup & Reset
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up data to your account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data to be automatically restored when reinstalling apps or logging in with the backup account

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Go to “Accounts
    3. Select an account type and the desired account
    4. Make sure “Contacts” is checked, then tap “Menu” > “Sync Now

    NOTE: Contacts can be automatically restored the next time you log in with the backup account or by manually syncing the account data with the device.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC
    4. Locate the media files on the phone storage
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the desired backup location on the computer
    6. Once the transfer completes, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Restore Media Files from a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media backup files on the PC storage
    5. Copy the files and transfer them to the phone storage in the folders of origin
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port
