    Enable Battery Saving Mode:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Device”
    3. Tap “Battery”
    4. Tap “menu” and enable “Battery saver”

    Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
    2. Go to “Settings” > “Display”
    3. Optionally, turn “Adaptive brightness” ON or OFF
    4. Tap “Sleep” for timeout options and select a lower time value

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

    NOTE: You can turn the phone’s connectivity features Off when not actively in use to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
    2. Tap the “Wi-Fi” “Location” and “Bluetooth” quick toggles to turn the features off
    3. Open “Settings” for more options
    4. Go to “Location” for GPS settings
    5. Tap “Menu” and enable “Battery saving”
    6. Return to “Settings” and expand “Wireless & Networks”
    7. Disable “Tethering & Mobile Hotspot”

    Switch to 2G Networks:

    NOTE: You can temporarily switch to 2G to conserve energy until the next recharge if your phone runs low on battery and you can’t immediately recharge it.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Expand “Wireless & Networks”
    3. Tap “mobile networks”
    4. Go to “Preferred network type” and enable “2G”

    Change Sync Settings:

    NOTE: By changing your accounts’ settings to reduce sync you might improve battery life.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts” and select an account type
    3. Select the desired account
    4. Change the available settings to reduce sync as desired

    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

    NOTE: Some third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the phone’s battery life. You can minimize this by removing or disabling unused third-party apps.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “Apps”
    3. If needed, switch to “Downloaded” or “All apps”
    4. Select the desired app
    5. Tap “Disable” / “Force stop” to turn the app off, or:
    6. Tap “Uninstall” to remove the app

    Keep the OS Updated:

    NOTE: OS updates can potentially improve battery life and it’s recommended to keep the OS updated at all times.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Access “About phone” > “System updates”
    3. Check if new updates are available
    4. If so, follow the prompts to complete the process
