    4. Optionally, enable or disable “Adaptive brightness”
    5. For timeout options, access “Sleep” and select a lower value

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

NOTE: You can disable the phone’s connectivity features when they are not actively in use, including Wi-Fi, GPS, Hotspot, and Bluetooth, to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. Tap the “Wi-Fi” “Location” and “Bluetooth” quick toggles to disable the features
    3. Open “Settings” and go to “Location”

    Switch to 2G Networks Temporarily:

NOTE: If your phone runs low on battery and you don’t have quick access to a wall socket or battery bank, you can temporarily switch to 2G networks to conserve energy until the next recharge.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Wireless & Networks”
    3. Go to “Mobile networks” > “Preferred network type”
    4. Enable “2G”

NOTE: You can change your accounts’ settings to reduce sync and potentially improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts”
    3. Select an account type and the desired account
    4. Change the available sync options to reduce sync as desired

    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

NOTE: Certain third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the phone’s battery life when the apps are not actively in use. By disabling or removing unused third-party apps, you might improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Apps” and switch to “All apps” if needed
    3. To disable the app, tap “Force Stop” / “Disable”
    4. To remove the app, tap “Uninstall”

Keep the OS Up To Date:

NOTE: OS updates can provide battery life improvements and it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “About phone”
    3. Tap “system updates” and check if new updates are available
    4. Follow the prompts to download and apply the updates
