    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Access “Personal
    3. Tap “Backup & Reset
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data to be automatically restored when reinstalling apps or logging in with the backup account

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Go to “Accounts
    3. Select an account type and the desired account
    4. Check “Contacts” if necessary
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now

    NOTE: Contacts can be automatically restored the next time you log in with the backup account or by manually syncing the account data with the phone.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer and navigate to the media files on the phone
    4. Copy and paste the files to the desired backup location on the PC
    5. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the PC via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer and navigate to the media backup files on the computer
    4. Copy and paste the files to the phone storage, preferably in the folders from where they originate
    5. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
