    Enable Battery Saving Mode:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Device”
    3. Tap “Battery” > “Menu”
    4. Enable “Battery saver”

    Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Display”
    3. Optionally, enable or disable “Adaptive brightness”
    4. Tap “Sleep” and select a lower timeout value

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

    NOTE: You can disable the phone’s connectivity features when not actively in use to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. Swipe the Status bar down
    2. Tap the “Wi-Fi” “Bluetooth” and “Location” quick toggles to turn off the features
    3. Open “Settings” and go to “Location” for GPS options
    4. Tap “Menu” and enable “Battery saving”
    5. Return to “Settings” and expand “Wireless & Networks”
    6. Disable “Tethering & Mobile hotspot”

    Temporarily Switch to 2G Networks:

    NOTE: If your device runs low on battery, you can conserve energy until the next recharge by temporarily switching to 2G.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Expand “Wireless & Networks”
    3. Go to “Mobile network” > “Preferred network type”
    4. Enable “2G”

    Minimize Third-Party App Usage:

    NOTE: Certain third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the phone’s battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. By disabling or removing unused third-party apps, you can potentially improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Apps” and switch to “All apps”
    3. Select the desired app
    4. Tap “Disable” or “Force Stop”
    5. To remove the app, tap “Uninstall”

    Change Sync Settings:

    NOTE: You can change your accounts’ sync settings to reduce sync and potentially improve battery life.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “Accounts” and select an account type
    3. Select an account
    4. Change the sync settings to reduce sync as desired

    Keep the OS Updated:

    NOTE: OS updates can potentially improve battery life and it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times. To see if new updates are available:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “About phone”
    3. Tap “System updates” and check if new updates are available
    4. If applicable, follow the prompts to download and install the updates
