    Enable Battery Optimization:

    1. On the home screen, swipe up and open “Settings”
    2. Access “Battery”
    3. Go to “Battery optimization”
    4. Select an app to optimize it
    5. In addition, you can tap “Menu” and enable “Advanced optimization”

    Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. Drag the brightness slider towards the left
    3. Launch “Settings”
    4. Go to display options and tap “Display”
    5. Tap “Advanced” > “Sleep” and select a lower timeout value

    Disable Connectivity Features:

    NOTE: You can turn the phone’s connectivity features Off when they are not actively in use to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down and tap the Bluetooth and GPS quick toggles to disable the features
    2. To disable Wi-Fi, tap and hold the “Wi-Fi” toggle and disable the feature
    3. Open “Settings” for more options
    4. To turn the Off Wi-Fi hotspot, go to “Network & Internet”
    5. Tap “Hotspot & Tethering” select “Wi-Fi hotspot” and disable the feature

    Uninstall Third-Party Apps:

    NOTE: Third-party apps can perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the device’s battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. To remove third-party apps:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Apps & Notifications”
    3. Tap “See all apps”
    4. Select the desired app
    5. Tap “Uninstall” > “OK”

    Keep the OS Up To Date:

    NOTE: OS updates can provide battery life improvements and it’s recommended to keep the OS updated at all times.

    1. Swipe the home screen up from the bottom
    2. Launch “Settings” > “System”
    3. Tap “System update” > “Check for update”
    4. If updates are available, follow the prompts to download and install them
