    Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. Drag the brightness slider towards the left
    3. Open “Settings” and access “Display”
    4. Tap “Advanced” > “Sleep”
    5. Select a lower timeout value

    Enable Battery Optimization:

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
    2. Launch “Settings” and tap “Battery”
    3. Tap “Battery optimization”
    4. Select an app to optimize it
    5. In addition, you can tap “menu” and enable “Advanced optimization”

    Disable Connectivity Features:

    NOTE: You can turn the phone’s connectivity features Off when they are not actively in use to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. Tap the “GPS” (Location) and “Bluetooth” quick toggles to disable the features
    3. Tap and hold the “Wi-Fi” quick toggle and set the switch OFF
    4. For more options, open “Settings” and go to “Network & Internet”
    5. Tap “Hotspot & Tethering” > “Wi-Fi Hotspot”
    6. Tap the switch to disable Hotspot

    Uninstall Third-Party Apps:

    NOTE: Certain third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the phone’s battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. To remove third-party apps:

    1. Swipe up on the home screen from the bottom and open “Settings”
    2. Access “Apps & Notifications”
    3. Switch to “See all apps” if necessary
    4. Select the desired app and tap “Uninstall” > “OK”

    Keep the OS Updated:

    NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times.

    1. Swipe up from the bottom on the home screen
    2. Open “Settings”
    3. Access “System” > “System update”
    4. Tap “Check for update” and if applicable, follow the prompts to download and apply updates
