    Enable Battery Optimization:

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
    2. Launch “Settings” and go to “Battery”
    3. Tap “Battery optimization”
    4. Select an app to optimize it
    5. Optionally, you can also tap “Menu” and enable “Advanced optimization”

    Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
    2. In the Notification shade, drag the brightness slider towards the left
    3. Open “Settings” and go to “Display”
    4. For more options, tap “Advanced” > “Sleep”
    5. Select a lower timeout value

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

    NOTE: You can turn the phone’s connectivity features Off when they are not actively in use to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
    2. Tap the “GPS (Location)” and “Bluetooth” quick toggles to disable the features
    3. To turn off Wi-Fi, tap and hold the toggle and set the Wi-Fi switch OFF
    4. For Hotspot options, access “Settings” and go to “Network & Internet” > “Hotspot & Tethering”
    5. Tap “Wi-Fi Hotspot” and set the switch OFF

    Remove Third-Party Apps:

    NOTE: Some third-party apps perform regular background processes which can potentially affect the device’s battery life. You might improve battery life by removing or disabling unused third-party apps

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
    2. Go to “Settings” > “Apps & Notifications”
    3. If necessary, switch to “See all apps”
    4. Select the desired app
    5. Tap “Uninstall” > “OK”

    Keep the OS Updated:

    NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and it’s recommended to keep the OS updated at all times.

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
    2. Launch “Settings” and access “System”
    3. Tap “System update” > “Check for update”
    4. If updates are available, follow the prompts to download and install them
