    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Go to “Personal
    3. Tap “Backup & Reset
    4. Enable “Back up my data” to back up data to your account
    5. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data, settings, and passwords to be automatically restored when reinstalling apps or logging in with the backup account

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Go to “Accounts
    3. Select an account type”
    4. Select the desired account
    5. Ensure “Contacts” is checked and tap “Menu” > “Sync Now

    NOTE: Contacts can be restored automatically when signing in with the backup account or by syncing the account data manually with the phone.

    Back Up Media Files to a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
    2. On the phone enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media files on the phone storage
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the backup location on the PC
    6. Once done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
    2. Enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” on the phone, when prompted or from the Notification shade
    3. Launch the File Explorer on the PC and locate the media backup files on the PC storage
    4. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the folders of origin
    5. Safely disconnect the phone from the USB cord
