    Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. Swipe the Status bar down
    2. Drag the brightness slider towards the left
    3. Launch “Settings”
    4. Go to “Display” and tap “Advanced”
    5. Tap “Sleep” and select a lower timeout value

    Enable Battery Optimization:

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
    2. Open “Settings”
    3. Access “Battery” and tap “Battery optimization”
    4. Select an app to optimize
    5. Optionally, tap “Menu” and enable “Advanced optimization”

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

    NOTE: you can turn the phone’s connectivity features OFF when not actively in use to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. Swipe the Status bar down
    2. Tap the “Bluetooth” and “GPS (Location) quick toggles to disable the features
    3. To disable Wi-Fi, tap and hold the quick toggle and set the switch OFF
    4. Launch “Settings” and access “Network & Internet” > “Hotspot & Tethering”
    5. Tap “Wi-Fi Hotspot” and set the switch OFF

    Remove Third-Party Apps:

    NOTE: Third-party apps can perform regular background processes and this can potentially affect the device’s battery life when the apps are not actively in use. You can potentially improve battery life by removing unused third-party apps.

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
    2. Open “Settings” and go to “Apps & Notifications”
    3. Switch to “See all apps” if needed
    4. Select the desired app
    5. Tap “Uninstall” > “OK”

    Keep the OS Updated:

    NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times.

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
    2. Open “Settings”
    3. Access “System” and tap “System updates”
    4. Tap “Check for update” and if applicable, follow the prompts to download and apply the update
