    Clear App Cache/Data:

NOTE: If an app causes issues or takes up too much storage inexplicably, you can try fixing the issues by clearing the app’s cache or data. WARNING! When you clear an app’s data, all of your data stored within the app will be deleted, including custom settings, user profiles, login data etc. To avoid losing personal app data, clear ONLY the app’s cache.

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
    2. Go to “Settings” > “Apps & Notifications”
    3. Switch to “All apps” if necessary
    4. Select the desired app and tap “Storage” > “Clear cache”
    5. If clearing the app cache didn’t fix the issues, tap “Clear data”

Reset Network and App Settings, Factory Reset the Device:

NOTE: Before you factory reset the device, ensure you’ve backed up all of your data to avoid losing it.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “System and tap “Reset options”
    3. To reset network settings, go to “Reset Wi-Fi Mobile & Bluetooth”
    4. Tap “Reset” two times
    5. To reset app settings, tap “Reset app preferences” > “Reset apps’
    6. To factory reset the phone, tap “Erase all data (Factory Reset)” > “Reset phone”
    7. Tap “Erase Everything” to confirm

Reboot to Safe Mode and Remove Apps:

NOTE: If a third-party app causes issues and prevents you from uninstalling it, you should be able to remove the app while in Safe Mode where all third-party apps are disabled by default.

    1. Press and hold “Power” while viewing the home screen
    2. In the power management pop-up, tap and hold the “Power off” option
    3. Wait for the phone to finish rebooting and once done, a “Safe Mode” watermark should be visible in the lower area of the home screen
    4. Open “Settings” and access “Apps & Notifications”
    5. Switch to “All apps” and select the desired app
    6. Tap “Uninstall” > “OK”
    7. To exit Safe Mode, press and hold “Power” and reboot the phone normally
