    Clear App Cache/Data:

NOTE: If an app causes problems or takes up too much storage inexplicably, you can try fixing the issues by clearing the apps’ cache or data. WARNING! When you clear an app’s data, all of your data stored within the app will be deleted, including user profiles, login data, custom settings etc. To avoid losing personal app data, clear ONLY the app’s cache.

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
    2. Go to “Settings”
    3. Tap “Apps & Notifications”
    4. Switch to “All apps” if necessary
    5. Select the desired app
    6. Tap “Storage” > “Clear cache”
    7. If clearing the app cache didn’t fix the issues, tap “Clear data”

Reset Network and App Settings, Factory Reset the Phone:

NOTE: Before you factory reset the phone, ensure you’ve backed up all of your data to avoid losing it.

    1. Open “Settings” and go to “System”
    2. Tap “Reset options”
    3. To reset network settings, access “Reset Wi-Fi Mobile & Bluetooth”
    4. Tap “Reset” two times to confirm
    5. To reset app settings, tap “Reset app preferences” > “Reset apps”
    6. To factory reset the device, tap “Erase all data (Factory Reset)” > “Reset phone” > “Erase everything”

    Uninstall Apps in Safe Mode:

NOTE: If a third-party app causes problems and prevents you from removing it, you should be able to uninstall the app while in Safe Mode where all third-party apps are disabled by default.

    1. Press and hold “Power” on the home screen
    2. From the power management pop-up, tap and hold the “Power Off” option
    3. Wait for the device to finish rebooting. Once done, you should see a “Safe Mode” watermark in the lower area of the home screen
    4. Open “Settings” and go to “Apps & Notifications”
    5. If necessary, switch to “All apps”
    6. Select the desired app and tap “Uninstall” > “OK”
    7. To exit Safe Mode, press and hold “Power” and reboot the phone normally
