    Hello all.....new member here.

    I have an issue with a Samsung Galaxy Fame GTS 6810P The messages icon on my home screen that shows the number of
    messages received in the corner of the icon continues to show the number of messages I have received.....even after I have opened and read them.

    The only way to remove the number is to turn the phone off and on.

    All help appreciated.
