My iPhones is dead and cannot be charged. The battery needs to be replaced. I am unclear if this would cause me to lose all my stored data as most data is not stored in the cloud. I have over 1,000 photos not secured. Why manufacturers don't allow owners to change batteries is a mystery. My 3 LG phones allow battery replacement but newer models do not.
