    Clear App Cache/Data:

NOTE: If an application doesn’t work as intended or takes up too much storage inexplicably, you can try fixing the problems by clearing the app’s cache and/or data. WARNING! When you clear an app’s data, all of your personal data located within the app will be deleted, including login details, custom settings, user profiles etc. To avoid losing personal app data, clear ONLY the app cache.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Apps & Notifications” and switch to “All apps”
    3. Select the desired app
    4. Access “Storage” and tap “Clear cache”
    5. If clearing the app cache didn’t solve the problems, tap “Clear data” (Check the WARNING above)

Reset Network and App Settings, Factory Reset the Device:

NOTE: Make sure you’ve backed up all of your data before factory resetting the device.

    1. Open “Settings” and access “System”
    2. Tap “Reset options”
    3. To reset network settings, access “Reset Wi-Fi Mobile & Bluetooth”
    4. Tap “Reset” two times
    5. To reset app settings, tap “Reset app preferences”
    6. Tap “Reset apps”
    7. To factory reset the device, tap “Erase all data (Factory Reset)” > “Reset phone” > “Erase everything”

    Remove Apps in Safe Mode:

NOTE: if a third-party app causes problems and prevents you from removing it, you should be able to remove the app while in Safe Mode where all third-party apps are disabled by default.

    1. Press and hold “Power”
    2. From the power management pop-up, tap and hold “Power off”
    3. After the phone finishes rebooting, you should see a “Safe Mode” watermark in the lower area of the home screen
    4. Open “Settings” and go to “Apps & Notifications”
    5. Switch to “All apps” if necessary, then select the desired app
    6. Tap “Uninstall” > “OK”
    7. To exit Safe Mode, reboot the device normally
