    Clear App Cache/Data:

NOTE: If an app causes problems or takes up too much storage, you can try fixing the app by clearing its cache or data. WARNING! by clearing an app’s data, all of your personal data stored within the app will be deleted, including login information, custom settings, user profiles etc. To avoid losing your personal app data, clear the app cache only.

    1. Launch “Settings” and go to “Apps & Notifications
    2. Switch to “See all apps
    3. Select the desired app and tap “Storage
    4. Tap “Clear cache
    5. If clearing the app cache didn’t help, tap “Clear data” instead

Reset Network and App Settings, Factory Reset the Phone:

NOTE: Make sure you’ve backed up all of your data before factory resetting the device.

    1. Launch “Settings
    2. Go to “System” > “Reset options

    5. To factory reset the device, tap “Erase all data (Factory Reset)” then tap “Reset phone” > “Erase everything

Reboot to Safe Mode and Uninstall Apps:

NOTE: If a third-party app causes problems and prevents you from removing it, you should be able to remove the app while in Safe Mode. In this mode, all third-party apps are disabled by default. To reboot to Safe Mode:

    1. Press and hold “Power” on the home screen
    2. From the power management pop-up, tap and hold “Power off
    3. Wait for the phone to reboot. After the phone finishes rebooting, you should see a “Safe Mode” watermark in the lower area of the home screen
    4. Launch “Settings” and access “Apps & Notifications
    5. If necessary, switch to “See all apps
    6. Select the desired app
    7. Tap “Uninstall” > “OK
    8. Once done, exit Safe Mode by rebooting the device as you would normally do
