    Enable Battery Optimization:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Access “Battery”
    3. Tap “Battery optimization”
    4. Select the app you want to optimize
    5. Optionally you can also tap “Menu” and enable “Advanced optimization”

    Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    1. On the home screen swipe the Status bar down
    2. In the quick toggle area, drag the brightness slider towards the left
    3. Launch “Settings” and go to “Display”
    4. Tap “Advanced” > “Sleep”
    5. Select a lower timeout value

    Remove Unused Third-Party Apps:

    NOTE: Some third-party apps perform background processes and this can potentially affect the device’s battery life. You can remove unused third-party apps from the phone to avoid this and improve battery life.

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Apps & Notifications”
    3. Switch to “See all apps” if needed
    4. Select the desired app
    5. Tap “Uninstall” > “OK”

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

    NOTE: You can disable the device’s connectivity features when they are not actively in use to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life.

    1. On the home screen, swipe the Status bar down
    2. Tap the “Bluetooth” and “GPS (Location)” quick toggles to disable the features
    3. Tap and hold the “Wi-Fi” toggle and turn the feature OFF
    4. For more network options, open “Settings” and go to “Network & Internet”
    5. Tap “Hotspot & Tethering” > “Wi-Fi Hotspot” and disable the feature

    Update the OS:

    NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and thus it’s recommended to keep the OS updated at all times. To check for updates:

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Go to “System”
    3. Tap “System updates” > “Check for updates”
    4. If applicable, follow the prompts to download and install the updates
