Lower the Screen Brightness and Timeout Duration:

    2. In the quick toggle area, drag the brightens slider towards the left
    3. Open “Settings”
    4. Access “Display” > “Advanced”
    5. Tap “sleep” and select a lower timeout option

    Enable Battery Optimization:

    1. Swipe up from the bottom of the home screen
    2. Lunch “Settings”
    3. Go to “Battery” > “Battery optimization”
    4. Select an app to optimize it
    5. You can also tap “Menu” and turn “Advanced optimization” ON

    Disable Unused Connectivity Features:

NOTE: You can turn the phone’s connectivity features OFF when they are not actively in use, to avoid unnecessary network scans and potentially improve battery life in the long run.

    1. Swipe the Status bar down on the home screen
    2. Tap the “Bluetooth” and “GPS (Location)” quick toggles to disable the features
    3. Tap and hold the “Wi-Fi” toggle and set the switch OFF to disable the feature
    4. For more options, access “Settings” > “Network & Internet”
    5. To disable Wi-Fi Hotspot, tap “hotspot & Tethering” > “Wi-Fi Hotspot” and set the switch OFF

    Remove Unused Third-Party Apps:

NOTE: Some third-party apps perform background processes regularly and this can potentially affect the device’s battery life even when the apps are not actively in use. To remove third-party apps:

    1. Swipe up on the home screen
    2. Go to “Settings” > “Apps & Notifications”
    3. Switch to “See all apps” if needed then select the desired app
    4. Tap “Uninstall” > “OK”

    Keep the OS Updated:

NOTE: OS updates can improve battery life and it’s recommended to keep the OS up to date at all times.

    1. Launch “Settings”
    2. Scroll to and tap “System”
    3. Tap “System update” > “Check for update”
    4. Follow the prompts to download and apply available updates
