    To Back Up & Restore App Data, Contacts, and Media Files on Huawei y6, no doubt that the easy way is using Coolmuster Android Assistant. With its help, you can back up and restore data on Huawei Y6 with one click. You just need to install it on your computer, start it. Link your Huawei Y6 to computer via usb cable, enable usb debugging on it. A short time scanning later, you can view all data on it.

    Back Up & Restore App Data:

    1. Open “Settings
    2. Access “Personal” > “Backup & Reset
    3. Enable “Back up my data” to back up app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords to your backup account
    4. Enable “Automatic Restore” to allow app data, settings, and passwords to be restored automatically the next time you reinstall apps or sign in with the backup account

    Back Up & Restore Contacts:

    1. Open “Contacts
    2. Go to “Accounts
    3. Select an account type and the desired account for contact syncing
    4. Ensure the “Contacts” check box is ticked
    5. Tap “Menu” > “Sync Now

    NOTE: Contacts can be restored automatically the next time you log in with the backup account or by manually syncing the account data, and contacts with the Android phone.

    Back Up Media Files on a Windows PC:

    1. Connect the Android device to the computer via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media files on the phone
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the desired backup location on the PC
    6. Once the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB cord

    Restore Media Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “Media device” / “File Transfer” when prompted or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Locate the media file backups on the PC
    5. Copy and transfer the files to the phone storage, preferably in the folders from where they originate
    6. Once the transfer is complete, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the phone from the USB port
