I have a real vintage microphone that I found here TreeThugger. This is a neat piece of history, it was supposedly used in the forties or fifties, it sounds rather weak, and I believe that this is partly due to degradation due to age, and partly due to the fact that he now has a very good solution, probably , due to leakage of magnetic iron in it, magnetic properties over time. But I still like him and I'm glad that he fell into my hands.

I think there is no technical problem in this. May be something is stuck into your microphone.

    hello!
i have a motorola milestone with android version 2.2.1, firmware config. vers. GAS_ASIA_USAMS1FRYORTSEA_P013.
the problem is that, during a call, when i switch to speaker the microphone almost is not working. the other person hears me only when i shout into the phone.

also the microphone doesn't work when i record video. on the video recording it hears only background noise.
i tried to record video with the hands-free ser and its the same problem.

    could anyone help me?
    Thanks!
