Good info. But there are easier method to transfer data between Android and PC.You can connect device to PC via WiFi/USB cable with the the help of Android assiatant and then move data directly. It also enables user previrw all files. So its the easier and more convenient method.

Hi, thank you for the instructions! Btw I faced another problem. I couldn't connect my phone to the PC, cause it just didn't see the phone. I started searching forums, different sites and did not know what to do. My friend programmer advised me to try best computer maintenance software to clean and optimize the system. And it worked! I hope this information will help someone - it's not always a problem with phone. Check and clean your computer.

Transfer Audio Files from a PC:

    1. Connect the Android phone to the PC via USB
    2. On the phone, enable “File Transfer” / “Media device” at the prompt or from the Notification area
    3. Open the File Explorer on the computer
    4. Navigate to the audio files on the computer
    5. Copy and paste the desired audio files to the phone storage in the “Ringtones” and “Notifications” directories
    6. After the transfer is done, eject the phone storage and safely disconnect the device from the USB port

    Change the General Ringtone:

    1. Open “Settings”
    2. Go to “Sound & Notification”
    3. Tap the desired ringtone
    4. Tap “OK”
    5. Optionally, turn “Also vibrate for calls” ON or OFF

Assign Custom Ringtones to Specific Contacts:

NOTE: You can’t set custom ringtones for contacts stored on the phone’s internal memory or SIM card.

    1. Open “Contacts”
    2. Tap and hold the desired contact
    3. Tap “Edit” > “Menu” > “Set ringtone”
    4. Select the desired ringtone and tap “OK”

    Change the Notification Ringtone:

    1. Open “Settings” and access “Device”
    2. Tap “Sound & Notification”
    3. Select “Default notification ringtone”
    4. Tap the notification sound you want to assign
    5. Tap “OK” to confirm
