    I had the same problem myself...nextel nor motorola have a single way of finding out your phone has been tampered with if the original housing is put back on the phone...it is a good idea to keep your original housing just in case of servicing it... i broke my i95 and took it in with the original housing ... they couldnt tell it was opened before

    If you have a phone that is under warranty you might want to ask your provider about this first!
    According to Nextel,(ie...i90) if you change the "stock" faceplate to an "aftermarket" one you are voiding your warranty and they will not service the phone once it has been changed.FYI!!!!
