if you can't turn Bluetooth on at the Menu "connection->Bluetooth" it is locked ;-)
Anyway there is a small icon at the top - looks like an antenna - it means bluetooth is on

I tried taking the battery out, didn't work.

Did you try resetting the phone? Or take the battery out and then replace it.

When I go to More, the "Turn on Bluetooth" is grey and when I press it I get "bluetooth is currently busy".
Any idea?
