Yes, I'll do that. I'll need to carefully consider whether switching to cheaper plan is worth it. I can use the pre-paid card for messaging when I need it (just slide the card, send message and slide it out). It will save me 70% on messaging charges.

You might want to look into that before you change your plans some don't have the benifits of others, you may lose a feature because it's not offered on the other plan. Just trying to give you a heads up.

That's exactly what happened. I was basically quoting what they were saying. Some people said that they did receive it in the "Important Information" on their bills. In my case I use EasyPay and the important info section goes like this "Thank you for using EasyPay...Do not pay this bill or mail remittance". This takes 3/4 of the space: how can they fit any "important messages"? There is no space left!

I also love T-Mobile and was extremely happy so far. But since I'm a heavy Intl msg user, I decided also to buy pre-activated $100 prepaid SIM card (T-Mobile Pay as You Go) for $30 on eBay and use that for messaging, since the intl rate will be the same, plus incoming messages will be free and internet/email is also free. Perhaps I'll drop regular subscription from T-Mobile or switch to cheaper plan.

That sounds like a bunch of crap although I don't use international text messaging. I haven't recieved any notification insert or otherwise. I have never heard of any rep. talking like that to me or anyone I know, even though I love t-mobile something like that may make me change carriers.

I wonder if any of you had received any notification from T-Mobile that international text messaging charge has changed on August 29 from $0.05 to $.15 per message.

I know it did change after I called them. They told me 2 things: 1) one rep said that since very few people used this, they did not care about notifying customers, 2) 2nd one said that they sent an insert to customers.

I checked my last 2 bills--no insert, no info, nothing! It is not posted when you login into your account--you need to search for that change on T-Mobile site! One rep told me that it was my responsibiliity to figure that out.

    Secret practices?
