I recently got a VX6100 and picked up the data cable thats linked in the forums.
Ive tried everything i can think of in BitPim and still cant seem to establish a connection. I followed the written Howto for the Vx7000 which is supposed to work as well, and im still not able to get a connection going using QPST. Ive messed around moving the cable to every single usb plug on my PC and while it comes up as a different COM port, i still get the same results on each one.

I get this message in BitPim: The Phone is not responding when transitioning mode from none to brew.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT IM DOING WRONG I NEED HELP!!!!
