    not sure how to do it for that phone....but this site (http://home.nycap.rr.com/stopcbt/vx6000.html) has directions for the 6000...

    ok...i have a LG VX3100 as well as the usb/cell phone cable. i've downloaded and installed futuredial drivers for the VX3100 and my XP OS recognizes it fine now...
    how do i set this thing up as a modem, though? when i go through the add hardware wizard...my computer does not see it as a modem. it sees it as some kind of USB to serial connection on COM4.
    suggestions? thanks
