So, even if I turn the headset on while the phone is ringing I can't pick up the call? I'm almost positive I've done that with Motorola phones & headset.

thats how it works, if you dont have the headset turned on, how is it supposed to know it can answer calls? i drive for a living, and i leave my logitech headset on all the time while im on the road, you just answer it that way. when you arent using the headset, turn it off.

So, I finally got around to getting a snazzy bluetooth headset, a Motorola HS-850. The sound quality is great, it's comfortable, the voice recognition seems to work pretty well. Only one problem so far... If I have the headset off and I get a call, I have to answer the call on the phone, and use the joystick on the phone to transfer sound to the headset. In the manual for the headset, it says you can just press the button and it will auto answer the call. This works if the headset is on before the phone rings, but not if I turn it on while the phone is ringing. Has anyone had experience with this? Have any suggestions?
